
The Lower Course at Baltusrol Golf Club has played host to a number of golf's most memorable championships. The A.W. Tillinghast design has been the venue for seven U.S. Opens, two PGA Championships, and a host of other prestigious men and women's amateur events. In 2005, Phil Mickelson won the PGA Championship by playing a flop shot to two feet in order to birdie the final hole.
